Why is my laptop suddenly so slow?
Usually a build-up of startup programs, a nearly-full hard drive, or background updates. Sometimes it's a failing hard drive. We can diagnose the actual cause rather than guessing.
Is it worth fixing an old laptop, or should I just replace it?
Depends on the fault and the age. If a repair costs more than about half the price of a similar new device, we'll usually say so honestly and help you find the right replacement instead.
How long does a repair usually take?
Many common repairs are same-day. More involved jobs, or ones needing an imported part, can take a few days — we'll always give you a realistic timeframe upfront.
Do you come to my house, or do I need to drop it off?
Both — we can pick up from your home and fix it at our site, or visit you on-site if that suits the job better.
What areas do you cover?
Paraparaumu, Paraparaumu Beach, Waikanae, Raumati and Paekākāriki as our standard service radius. Outside that, get in touch anyway — we take on jobs further afield case by case.
How much will my repair cost?
We charge $120/hr for standard support (minimum 1 hour), with a SuperGold rate of $104.35/hr. We'll always confirm a quote before any chargeable work starts — see our pricing page for full rates.
Do you fix Apple devices as well as Windows?
Yes — MacBooks, iMacs, PC laptops, and desktops across both ecosystems.
What if the same problem comes back after a repair?

Can you recover my data if my hard drive has failed?
In many cases, yes. Get in touch as soon as possible and avoid continuing to use the device, as that can reduce the chance of recovery.
